The parish of Pitminster is a large area a few miles south of Taunton. It is bounded to the North by the M5 motorway, to the South by the Blackdown Hills (an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) reaching nearly to Churchstanton including the hamlet of Feltham, to the East by Taunton Racecourse and the village of Corfe, and to the West nearly to West Buckland - it stretches almost to the Devon border. The Parish area contains three villages, Pitminster, Blagdon Hill and Angersleigh. There are also a number of hamlets. including Feltham, Duddlestone, Shoreditch and Lowton. Within the Parish there is a church at Pitminster, and also a small school Much of the information is of the local Pitminster Parish Council.
